OP Delegates Visualization

OP Delegates Visualization

New feature: OP Delegates Visualization

We’ve currently included top1000 The visualization uses a clear color-coding system (yellow for delegates, white for citizens) to help users easily identify different types of network participants.

Enhanced List View Integration
Enhanced List View Integration

Our new integrated list view visualizes connections between delegates and citizens through node sizes:

  • Citizens: Larger nodes indicate more connections
  • Delegates: Larger nodes represent more delegations received

We've also implemented several quality-of-life improvements to enhance user experience:

  • Enhanced citizen data integration from Superchain.eco
  • Updated branding with new logo and favicon
  • Improved user interface with helpful tooltips on filters
  • New node highlight mode for better visualization
  • Smoother camera transitions for better navigation

Power Distribution Notes

Our analysis has revealed several key insights about the delegate ecosystem:

Delegates show lower on-chain connectedness compared to citizens

Delegates only: ~66% nodes have no connections
Delegates only: ~66% nodes have no connections
Citizen only: ~5% nodes have no connections
Citizen only: ~5% nodes have no connections

Larger delegates demonstrate stronger connectivity with citizens

In comparison of the centrers of inlfuence within the network it’s visible

Delegates only: influencer cluster on top-right
Delegates only: influencer cluster on top-right
Delegates & Citizes: a lot of those influencers are close to the “citizen core”

Regen connections

Also with new nodes and connections we can identify more significant coalitions in #regeneration or any other on-chain behaviour (we just have this markers ready).
